How Long Does Botox Last?

BOTOX Cosmetic® is naturally a current substance that temporarily weakens the action of muscles. Injected into rankled areas, the skin will become quite smooth for several months.

BOTOX Cosmetic® is metabolized by our body and the effects disappear in from four to nine months. I find that most patients begin to see the wrinkling reappear in about two months.

Most patients are quite happy with the effects of BOTOX Cosmetic®, and return every four to six months during a short "lunch hour" visit for touch up injections.
