Breast Reduction FAQ's - Lejeour Breast Reduction

This procedure, named after the Belgian plastic surgeon who described it, allows for breast reduction with less scarring. Traditional breast reduction involved an incision around the areola, down and then a long incision from the armpit area, across the fold under the breast, almost to the midline. The Lejeour method of breast reduction completely eliminates the largest of these scars, the one across the chest under the breast and usually leaves a very nice shape to the breast after healing.

This is an outpatient procedure and usually  requires only 7 days for recovery.
