Submuscular Implants initially look high.

With Good muscle coverage there is not enough room to allow the implant to drop into optimal position right away. I don't believe that the first day is what counts. Instead, I think a long-term natural look is more important. I do not like to weaken the muscle for "instant beauty".  Allowing the implants to drop over the months following surgery allows the muscle envelope to cover the implant resulting in a softer, more natural look and feel.

In some patients even a modest enlargement makes a nice difference in their figure. Be careful though. Many wish they went a little bigger later. Conservative clothing will avoid drawing too much attention to the breast. If a patient does not adequately fill her clothing after having implants she may be disappointed. Size by looking in the mirror with sizers on to get an idea what the results will look like.
